Hurst Review NCLEX® Scholarship Fall 2017

Hurst Review NCLEX® Scholarship application

Thank you for your interest in the Hurst Review NCLEX® Scholarship.  Please review the following information to get started:

Eligibility — Phi Theta Kappa members enrolled in a two-year college nursing program or who are alumni attending a four-year college nursing program are eligible to apply. You must be in good standing in your current nursing program and plan to take the NCLEX® exam in the next semester following the award. Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Verification — All eligible students identified as finalists will be required to submit a Student Aid Report and a copy of their most current transcript. International Students will be required to submit a transcript as well as a form provided by the Scholarship Department documenting proof of financial need. The nursing advisors of all finalists will be contacted to confirm the applicant’s good standing at the college and in the nursing program.

Awards — The application will open twice a year. Up to 25 Phi Theta Kappa members will be awarded annually (10 in the fall, 15 in the spring). Each will receive a passcode for free use of Hurst Review study materials. Additionally, scholars will each receive a $250 cash award to pay for NCLEX® exam fees.

Data Collection - Phi Theta Kappa collects data to demonstrate to our scholarship partners and donors that scholarships make a difference in the lives of students. As a result, we collect a variety of survey data, which is used ONLY for demographic data in aggregate and is kept confidential.
